As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to emerging situations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will deliver exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with store personnel and visitors. Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed post procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns promptly to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities accurately and completely in accordance with site procedures.
