About The Position

America Works of Washington, Inc., a socially conscious company, is seeking an Eligibility Specialist to support eligibility determination, enrollment, and data integrity for a workforce development program in Lewis County, WA. The ideal candidate holds a 4-year degree, has experience in eligibility determination or compliance with strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and is passionate about helping low-income and underserved job seekers find employment. Eligibility Specialists are responsible for eligibility determination, enrollment, and documentation in accordance with applicable requirements. They ensure compliance across different programs, maintain complete and accurate case files, and support timely and accurate data entry. This role is essential to program integrity and performance reporting. Eligibility Specialists receive functional guidance from PacMtn's Director of QA and Compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-year degree, relevant experience and/or advanced studies a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in eligibility determination or compliance, or a role requiring document handling and data accuracy
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional demeanor, sound judgment, and exceptional organizational skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and have a high degree of flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
  • Passion for serving individuals from disadvantaged and underserved populations, including but not limited to: public assistance recipients, justice-involved individuals, persons with physical and/or mental disabilities, and individuals experiencing homelessness

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in CRM Software, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive/SharePoint a plus

Responsibilities

  • Determine eligibility and complete enrollments for new participants
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant case files
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting
  • Conduct quality assurance and support program compliance
  • Ensure compliance with WIOA and other funding requirements
  • Improve data quality and performance reporting accuracy
  • Enable the Career Success Team to focus on service delivery and outcomes
