About The Position

The Eligibility Assistance Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership and support for the eligibility assistance team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and a welcoming, culturally responsive experience for the communities we serve. This role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support access to care and advance our mission to Inspire Hope. Promote Wellness. Requirements

  • High School/GED required
  • State of Missouri Insurance Navigator’s licensure required within 6 months of hire
  • Federal Certified Application Counselor or Federal Navigator’s licensure required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and support Eligibility Specialists and other assigned staff
  • Promote a positive, customer-focused, and culturally responsive service environment
  • Monitor team performance, productivity, and compliance with organizational and funding requirements
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development activities
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support insurance screening and referral processes for uninsured patients
  • Oversee reporting, documentation, and program tracking related to eligibility and enrollment activities
  • Support adherence to program budgets, timelines, and regulatory standards
  • Manage employee timecards, performance development processes, and progressive discipline procedures as needed
  • Assist with departmental strategic goals and other duties as assigned
  • Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
  • Completes performance development/AIM process
  • Time card management – manages time sheets
  • Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals
