About The Position
West Plains LLC, part of BioUrja Group, is an agricultural commodity trading business specializing in warehouse operation, risk management, and transportation. They are headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, with ten locations across three states, controlling nearly 20 million bushels of elevator space. This position is for an Elevator Technician based out of their Wiggins, CO facility. The role involves performing necessary general labor functions onsite, including support of grain activities, backfilling, bulking, and other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments

- Equipment operation and maintenance experience
Responsibilities
- Provides general assistance to facility operations
- Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping and washing surfaces.
- Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Reliable and regular attendance is expected.
- Follow applicable safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear.
- Operate routinely used tools and equipment
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
- Operate load and unload equipment from vehicles, trailers and trains
