About The Position

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working independently as an Elevator Mechanic or Technician.
• Valid elevator mechanic credentials.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to meet fit-for-duty physical requirements.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.

Nice To Haves

• A state elevator license may be considered with additional years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, adjust, and test mechanical and electrical elevator systems.
• Diagnose performance issues and determine their root causes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Respond to service calls, including customer emergencies and entrapments.
• Participate in a scheduled after-hours on-call rotation.
• Work independently to meet customer needs efficiently and professionally.
• Travel as needed, with occasional overnight stays possible.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and equipment handling.
