About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is the operation of the grain elevator for loading, unloading, and transferring grain and grain products in an efficient, safe, and sanitary manner. This role also involves assisting or leading in all other aspects of grain handling, storage, maintaining facilities and equipment, and general elevator operations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent desired
0-1 year of experience
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a safety-conscious environment
Ability to work in a highly quality-controlled environment
Ability to learn new tasks and equipment operations
Ability to maintain a good working relationship with other facility personnel
Ability and willingness to learn the operations of the elevator
Understands and follows general safety rules and procedures

Responsibilities

Assist in all areas of loading, unloading, and transferring of grain and grain products for truck, barge, and rail (location specific).
Perform basic housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Assist in basic maintenance activities.
Understand and implement all facets of Bunge’s safety programs and culture.
Learn new tasks and equipment operations.
Maintain a good working relationship with other facility personnel.
Learn the operations of the elevator.
Understand and follow general safety rules and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
