Elementary Teachers (K–2) - Three Full-Time Positions
About The Position
St. John the Baptist Catholic Academy is seeking three full-time Elementary Teachers for Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade. These openings come as current teachers transition for a variety of reasons, including retirement, time at home with young children, and shifts to part-time work. We are implementing a Catholic classical education model in our elementary program this year. This is new for our team, and you will receive strong training and ongoing support as we learn and grow together. Our school is known for its small class sizes and close-knit, family atmosphere. Teachers are supported, students are known, and relationships matter.
Requirements
- Passion for teaching young children
- Strong foundation in reading instruction
- Willingness to grow within a Catholic classical model
- Ability to foster a structured, engaging classroom
- Alignment with the mission of Catholic education
- Genuine love of reading, learning, and forming young minds.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in classical education is not required.
