About The Position
Yeshiva Elementary School is seeking a female, mid-elementary school, secular studies teacher for a part time position in the girl’s division, beginning August 2026. The ideal candidate will be caring, capable, experienced, and able to teach all core secular subjects. Founded in 1987, Yeshiva Elementary is a warm & vibrant school dedicated to understanding & nurturing the potential of each child. With rich educational Limudei Kodesh and General Studies programming, the elementary division focuses on Torah, Avodah, building positive Middos and instilling a lifelong love of learning. Our nurturing and stimulating environment, together with our dedicated and experienced teachers, and a strong emphasis on the individual student, personal character development, and academic growth, serve as a foundation for the holistic development of our students.

Responsibilities
- Teaching math, writing, reading, science and social studies in a 3rd or 4th grade classroom of approximately 20-22 girls
- Fostering a positive and structured classroom environment
- Utilizing strong classroom management skills to support student growth
- Maintaining academic expectations
- Responding thoughtfully to guidance and direction from administrative leadership
- Communicating regularly with parents regarding student’s successes and challenges
