Catholic Elementary Teacher
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy (RCA) is seeking part-time Elementary teachers for the 2026-27 academic year at its Pelham, New Hampshire location. The academy offers instruction in a classical and Catholic tradition within a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Available grades for teaching are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. RCA is a national organization. Childcare/nursery care is provided. No additional vacation days are given, though accommodations are made for sick days. Tutors are trained to provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to their state in life. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.
Requirements
- Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
- Must have a deep love for the Catholic faith.
- Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to their state in life.
- Standard computer skills.
- Must be available to attend mandatory training on August 10, 11, and 12, 2026.
- Complete a background check.
- Complete RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.
Nice To Haves
- Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children.
- Experience in ministry in your Catholic parish.
- Experience teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes.
- Experience teaching your own children.
- Experience teaching in a classical or private school.
- Ideally with Google Suite or an equivalent.
