About The Position
The Elementary Teacher instructs students in the appropriate district curriculum, creates a positive and effective learning environment for all students, and supports students’ academic, social, physical, and emotional growth. The position is located at Boreal Sun Charter School. The contract is a minimum of 184 days, and salary is determined by the Fairbanks Education Association Negotiated Agreement. The position is in the Fairbanks Education Association bargaining unit and participates in the Alaska Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Must possess or be eligible for a valid Alaska Initial, Professional, or Master certificate with an endorsement in elementary education.
- Meet all state and federal requirements to be qualified in the required content area.
