About The Position
The Elementary Teacher instructs students in the appropriate district curriculum, creates a positive and effective learning environment for all students, and supports students’ academic, social, physical, and emotional growth. The position is at Arctic Light Elementary School and starts in January 2027. The contract is a minimum of 184 days. Salary is determined by the Fairbanks Education Association Negotiated Agreement. This location does not accept J-1 visa applicants.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Must possess or be eligible for a valid Alaska Initial, Professional, or Master certificate with an endorsement in elementary education.
- Meet all state and federal requirements to be qualified in the required content area.
