Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
Valid state teaching certification for Elementary Education.
Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
Proficiency in using technology for instruction, assessment, and communication.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students.

Nice To Haves

Experience teaching at the elementary level preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for both Kindergarten and 4th Grade.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Assess and monitor student progress through formal and informal evaluations, providing feedback to students and parents.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.
Foster a love for learning by incorporating hands-on activities, technology, and creative projects into the curriculum.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary units and school-wide initiatives.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and trends.
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring adherence to school policies and procedures.
Support the social and emotional development of students by promoting positive behavior and conflict resolution skills.
