Part Time Elementary Teacher
About The Position
Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time Elementary Teacher to provide one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1-12. Since 1999, Brightmont Academy has focused on helping students achieve their full potential through personalized learning. With 25 campuses across 10 states, we foster a nurturing, student-centered environment. This role offers a flexible schedule with no lesson planning or outside work required, allowing teachers to focus solely on inspiring their students. The teaching model emphasizes tailoring lessons to individual student needs and learning styles, guiding students to mastery through a gradual release approach, and building confidence and academic success. Professional development opportunities are also available.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject area (English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics).
- Patience and empathy, understanding that every student learns differently.
- A genuine passion for teaching and sharing subject matter.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.
