About The Position
This teacher will teach in Elementary as a Long-Term Sub covering a leave of absence. LCA hires staff who care about the spiritual and academic growth of their students, who maintain high academic standards, and who love Christ and live by biblical principles. LCA has a community of staff and faculty who join together regularly for prayer, biblical worldview training, celebrations, and staff development. Requirements
- Possess a strong Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a demonstrated character of integrity.
- Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith.
- Possess a passion for Christian education and student discipleship.
- Demonstrated knowledge of reading, phonics and math instruction.
- Clear pedagogical understanding of how to teach these concepts at an age-appropriate level.
- Ability to articulate and share examples of clear, consistent, and effective classroom management techniques.
- BA degree required in any field.
