About The Position
Hermiston School District is seeking a full-time fourth-grade teacher at Sunset Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be properly licensed or have the ability to obtain licensure prior to the start of the school year, and possess the ability to teach fourth grade. This position begins August 17, 2026. Our elementary schools (K-5) range in size from 460-600 students and are supported by a Principal, Dean of Students, School Counselor, Instructional Coach, and classified staff, all aimed at supporting teachers in providing a premier education.
