About The Position
The teacher shall prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter—specifically regarding technological literacy and the design process—that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God. The teacher shall be a born-again, college graduate, certified or certifiable, who feels called by God to the teaching profession.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, or a relevant STEAM subject area is required.
- Must be certifiable and willing to pursue Florida League of Christian Schools (FLOCS) certification.
- Proficiency in educational technology.
- Proficiency in basic coding.
Nice To Haves
- A valid teaching certificate is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience in an Elementary academic setting is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, Administrators, and parents.
- Support teams in the development of common assessments to inform instruction.
- Manage a computer lab/STEAM center with high levels of organization and innovation.
