About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking an enthusiastic Special Education Teacher who values collaboration, innovation, and student achievement for the upcoming school year in Cincinnati, OH. Deliver specialized instruction and intervention services to elementary students with diverse learning needs through a combination of inclusive classroom support and small-group/individualized instruction. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs), using student data to drive instructional decisions and measure progress toward goals. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure students receive appropriate academic and behavioral supports. Provide targeted interventions in foundational literacy and mathematics skills to help students access grade-level curriculum and achieve academic growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate Educational Needs) or ability to obtain licensure before start date

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred
• Experience supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Developmental Delays (DD), and other diverse learning needs
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and evidence-based literacy and math interventions
