About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher in the Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona area. The teacher provides individualized instruction to elementary students, fosters student growth, and helps each child reach their full potential. The position involves developing and implementing individualized learning plans, administering assessments, and monitoring progress toward academic, developmental, and behavioral goals. Instruction is tailored to students’ individual learning needs in resource and structured learning environments. The teacher collaborates with families, teachers, and school personnel to communicate student progress and coordinate educational support, and guides paraprofessionals and classroom support staff in delivering effective instruction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate.
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs, developing individualized education plans, administering assessments, and collaborating with families and school teams preferred.

Responsibilities
