About The Position
Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home tutoring company that delivers flexible and personalized tutoring programs to students in Boulder & Jefferson Counties. They specialize in all subject areas and cater to kindergarten to grade 12 students. Prep Academy of Boulder and Jefferson Counties is seeking an experienced Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) to work with students who have Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and other related Learning Differences. This role involves providing academic support, supplemental assignments, and remedial/enrichment support to students, tailored to their individual needs. The position also requires communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress.
Requirements
- A qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree.
- Hold a valid Colorado State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof.
- Be a current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate.
- Have two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher.
- Have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College.
- Be a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College.

Responsibilities
- Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum.

- Provide a customized approach tailored to the individual needs of each student.
