KIPP Massachusetts Public Charter Schools•Lynn, MA
•Onsite

About The Position

KIPP Massachusetts is hiring an Elementary School Teaching Fellow to co-teach in kindergarten through fourth-grade classrooms. Teaching Fellows work alongside an experienced Lead Teacher, developing their teaching skills through hands-on classroom practice, personalized instructional coaching, and professional development. Fellows typically have less teaching experience than Lead Teachers and are expected to work toward becoming a KIPP MA Lead Teacher after a year of intensive development. They begin working with students and families at the start of the school year, co-teach small- and whole-group lessons, and gradually assume additional solo teaching responsibilities. Fellows share accountability with Lead Teachers for student growth and classroom culture and collaborate with their grade-level teams to meet academic and character goals. The position includes a partial tuition scholarship to Boston University’s Graduate School of Education for eligible Fellows interested in pursuing a master’s degree and Massachusetts teacher licensure. The role follows the school-year calendar.
