About The Position

BridgePrep Academy of Tampa is hiring an elementary school teacher for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade for the 2026–27 school year. The teacher will deliver standards-aligned instruction across core subjects and foster a structured, joyful classroom where high academic expectations are balanced with social-emotional support. The role includes designated planning time, instructional coaching, grade-level collaboration, and network-wide professional development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Valid or eligible Florida Teaching Certificate in Prekindergarten/Primary Education (Age 3–Grade 3) or Elementary Education (K–6), with an ESOL endorsement or eligibility.
Successful completion of a Florida Level 2 background screening.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience teaching early elementary (K–2nd grade) in a charter or public school setting.
Reading Endorsement or a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Reading, or Curriculum & Instruction.

Responsibilities

Deliver daily standards-aligned lessons for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade across core subjects, using interactive foundational reading strategies, structured early writing, and hands-on learning activities.
Maintain schoolwide behavior routines and create a safe, respectful, and joyful early childhood learning environment.
Differentiate instruction for ESOL, ESE, and intervention groups.
Use assessment data to track early literacy and foundational growth and update gradebooks weekly.
Communicate openly with families.
Participate in grade-level team meetings and duties.
