Hold a valid teaching certification in NJ or meet the GPA requirement.
If graduated after September 2016: Bachelor's or Master's GPA ≥ 3.0, OR GPA between 2.75 and 3.0 AND passed all required Praxis exams with a +10% passing score.
If graduated before September 2016: Bachelor's or Master's GPA ≥ 2.75.

Responsibilities

Create, internalize, modify, and prepare lesson plans in accordance with the academic curriculum, collaborating with the grade-level team.
Utilize data to teach towards mastery of academic skills.
Work collaboratively with students, families, and colleagues to foster a supportive environment for student progress.
Reinforce a strong foundation for all classes and uphold classroom management techniques.
Assist with diagnostic and progress monitoring testing across the school.
Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure all students meet learning objectives.
Update student performance trackers and use data to guide lesson planning.
Participate in school, departmental, and parent meetings.
Engage in school events, activities, and programs outside of regular class instruction hours.
