About The Position

This position is for an Elementary Resource Teacher to provide on-campus, classroom instruction for middle and/or high school students in a diverse, private school in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves creating appropriate learning experiences for students from various cultural backgrounds, ensuring proper classroom etiquette and behavior, and preparing and following class-appropriate lesson plans.

Requirements

• Communicating effectively with students and parents concerning students progress
• Working both independently and with the department team to ensure student success
• Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills

Nice To Haves

• Previously Taught in a Florida Public or Private School for 3 or more years
• Bachelor's Degree (4 years from an accredited university)

Responsibilities

• Providing appropriate learning experiences for students across a range of cultural backgrounds
