About The Position
This would be a special areas class for Mandarin. It is 40hr/wk, 7:15a-3:30p. The Elementary and Middle School Foreign Language Teacher provides specialized instruction in foreign languages. This role involves creating engaging, hands-on lessons that enhance students' educational experience.
Requirements
- Valid South Carolina teaching certification REQUIRED.
- Experience teaching foreign language at the elementary and/or middle school level.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum for foreign language.
- Engage students in interactive, project-based learning experiences.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative classroom environment.
- Participate in school-wide events and activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Any other duties as assigned.
