About The Position

KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks a passionate Elementary Math teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves teaching 3rd or 4th grade math at KIPP Impact Academy, or 5th grade math at KIPP VOICE Academy or KIPP Bessie Coleman Academy. Teachers are responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, and building relationships with families. Specific responsibilities are ultimately outlined by the Principal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Florida Teaching Certification or Eligibility for Certification in K-6 Elementary
  • At least one complete year of teaching experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom

  • Deep commitment to creating an inclusive, healthy, and empowering community for students
  • Passing a background check, as required by law

Nice To Haves

  • Florida Reading Endorsement (or reading competency coursework in progress) if teaching English Language Arts
  • ESOL Endorsement (or competency coursework in progress)
  • Two or more years of teaching experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom in a relevant grade level
