26-27 Elementary Math Teacher
About The Position
KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks a passionate Elementary Math teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves teaching 3rd or 4th grade math at KIPP Impact Academy, or 5th grade math at KIPP VOICE or KIPP Bessie Coleman Academy. Teachers are responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, building relationships with families, and other duties as assigned by their Principal. KIPP Jacksonville is part of the KIPP national network, dedicated to creating joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare students for future success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Relevant Florida Teaching Certification or Eligibility for Certification in K-6 Elementary
- At least one complete year of teaching experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom
- Possesses a deep commitment to creating an inclusive, healthy, and empowering community for our students.
- Passing a background check, as required by law
- Background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse in accordance with Florida House Bill 531.
Nice To Haves
- Florida Reading Endorsement (or reading competency coursework in progress) if teaching English Language Arts
- ESOL Endorsement (or competency coursework in progress)
- Two or more years of teaching experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom in a relevant grade level
