About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the food service operations at an elementary school. The manager will oversee food preparation, serving, and cleanup, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires one year of experience in institutional, commercial, or school district food service.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
  • One (1) year of institutional, commercial, and/or school district food service experience preparing and/or serving food.
  • Ability to provide own transportation.
  • Current SNHD Food Handler Safety Training Card.
  • Current Food Protection Manager Certification (i.e., ServSafe).

Responsibilities

  • Complete required Elementary Food Service Manager training within the first year of employment.
