About The Position

This role involves teaching elementary students during a summer extended school year program. There are different program lengths and focuses, including a four-week program at the Learning Center and five-week programs for Skills, Therapeutic Learning Center (TLC), and Integrated Support Services (ISS). Specific certifications and familiarity with WPS learning goals are preferred.

Requirements

• DESE certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Wilson certification preferred for Lead Learning Center Teachers.
• Educators with dual certification (Special Educator and ABA) are preferred for Lead Skills Program Teachers.
• Familiarity with WPS learning goals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students during the summer extended school year program.
• Prepare for lessons (30 minutes for the four-week program, 45 minutes for the five-week programs).

Benefits

• $48.44 - 71.07 per hour (dependent on step and lane placement)
