About The Position

This is a 0.40 FTE contract position for an Elementary Classroom Support Teacher at Hanwell Park Academy for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves supporting classrooms on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Applicants will be contracted by the school's principal and/or Director of Schools to review position details and transitional support opportunities. Hiring will follow the Collective Agreement in the order of Teachers with Recall Rights, Certified Teachers (without recall rights), and Supply teachers with a Local Permit.

Requirements

• Must be available to work Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Must be able to provide a cover letter, resume, most recent performance review, transcripts, and 3 references with one being your most recent supervisor.

Nice To Haves

• Science of reading coursework and/or training is a preferred asset.
