About The Position

This is a 1.00 FTE Contract D Teacher position for High School/Middle School at Saint Mary's Academy for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants will be contracted by the school's principal and/or Director of Schools to review details of the position and opportunities for transitional support. Positions will be offered in adherence to Article 61.03 and 61.05 of the Collective Agreement, prioritizing teachers with recall rights, then certified teachers without recall rights, and finally supply teachers with a Local Permit.

Requirements

• Possess recall rights, or be a certified teacher without recall rights, or be a supply teacher with a Local Permit.
• Provide a cover letter.
• Provide a resume.
• Provide the most recent performance review.
• Provide transcripts.
• Provide 3 references, with one being the most recent supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Teach High School/Middle School students.
• Participate in the selection process which includes interviews with the principal and/or Director of Schools.
• Provide necessary documentation including cover letter, resume, most recent performance review, transcripts, and 3 references (one being the most recent supervisor).
