Elementary After-School Sports Coach
About The Position
Super Soccer Stars is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Elementary After-School Sports Coaches to lead fun, engaging, and age-appropriate soccer classes for elementary-aged children. This role involves teaching fundamental soccer skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and respect. Coaches will create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment using positive reinforcement and ensure the safety and well-being of every participant. The position requires following the Super Soccer Stars curriculum while bringing personal enthusiasm and professionalism. Building meaningful relationships with students, parents, and school staff is also a key aspect of the role. Additional coaching opportunities are available in preschool programs for those seeking more hours.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a sports, coaching, education, childcare, or camp setting.
- A passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping kids build confidence through sports.
- An energetic, positive personality with the ability to engage and motivate children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work at least three weekdays from 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM.
- Reliable transportation to travel between program locations.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
