To help students learn subject matter and skills that will enable them to excel in a global society. This role involves meeting and instructing assigned classes, planning a program of study that meets individual student needs, creating a conducive classroom environment, and preparing for classes. The instructor will guide the learning process, employ various instructional techniques, and strive to implement the district's philosophy of education. Assessment of student accomplishments, diagnosis of learning disabilities, and maintaining accurate records are also key functions. The instructor will assist administration in implementing policies, develop classroom rules, and be available to students and parents. Planning and supervising assignments for teacher aides and volunteers, and striving to improve professional competence are expected. The role also requires the ability to communicate in more than one language or the willingness to learn. Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
