About The Position

This posting is for multiple openings of Electrophysiology Technician position at Providence Anchorage: 1 position open for Full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shifts, 40 hours per week schedules. $15,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. 1 Per Diem position, 0.01 FTE, Day shifts, hours per week are as needed and not guaranteed (no bonus or relocation). Assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive diagnostic therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies. Knowledgeable in Vascular and Cardiac Procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes "team" concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy. Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality. Requirements

  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Or Upon hire: Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Graduation from an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive electrophysiological procedures., Or equivalent education/experience
  • Previous Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technician.
  • Experience in invasive electrophysiological procedures.

Responsibilities
