About The Position

NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation's top hospitals for Cardiology & Heart Surgery, is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician to join a new team. The hospital performs over 7,500 cardiac procedures annually and is expanding with three new electrophysiology (EP) labs, a new cath lab reporting system, and new facilities. This role involves assisting physicians with the setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures, preparing patients and providing instruction, serving as an educational resource for staff, and evaluating lab technology to recommend improvements. Requirements

  • BCLS and ACLS Certifications within 3 months of hire
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Completion of accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular technology or equivalent education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in EP Lab devices and equipment
  • Knowledge of hemodynamics and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
  • RCES Credential or RCIS Certification

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience as a Electrophysiology Technician in a hospital environment
