About The Position

Assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive diagnostic therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies. Knowledgeable in Vascular and Cardiac Procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes "team" concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy. Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality. Requirements

  • Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Or Upon hire: Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training: Graduation from an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive electrophysiological procedures., Or equivalent education/experience
  • Previous Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technician.
  • Experience in invasive electrophysiological procedures.
