About The Position

Atrium Health is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to join their Electrophysiology team at the Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Pineville, NC. The Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute is a leading cardiac and vascular program in the Southeast, offering comprehensive cardiovascular services and employing over 110 physicians across more than 25 locations. With over 50 years of experience, they provide high-quality care for patients with cardiovascular disease, including the region's only heart transplant center and pediatric heart surgery program. This role offers a hybrid inpatient/outpatient schedule with occasional weekend coverage and no call coverage.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Maintain a current license to practice as an NP or PA in North Carolina.
• Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• BLS/ACLS Certified.
• Physician Assistants: certification from the NCCPA required.
• Nurse Practitioners: Acute Care NP Certification required.
• 1+ years of experience in cardiology and/or electrophysiology.
• Effective team collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in an electrophysiology setting.
• Manage an average of twenty cases with five admissions per provider.
• Collaborate with a team of 13 MDs and 17 APPs.
• Participate in occasional weekend coverage.
