About The Position
VPT, Inc., a global leader in providing power conversion solutions for use in avionics, military, space and industrial applications, is currently searching for Electrical Engineering students interested in obtaining a Summer 2026 internship position. This internship will provide an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both R&D and manufacturing environments while working alongside experienced engineers who are leaders in their field.
Requirements
- Basic electronics experience
- Currently enrolled in or intending to enroll in an Electrical Engineering program at a Virginia higher education institution
- US Person is required

Responsibilities
- Perform automated testing and screening of production and engineering parts
- Perform maintenance on test and screening circuits, hardware, harnesses and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits
- Assemble circuit boards, test hardware and wiring harnesses
- Apply basic principles and theories of electronics and electrical circuitry
