About The Position

This position is for an Electronics Technician Maintenance I, supporting 2nd Shift Operations (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM). The team is responsible for performing duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups. The Electronics Technician Maintenance I will be responsible for applying basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks, following detailed instructions to complete tasks, and replacing components, wiring circuits, and repairing simple electronic equipment. This role supports the Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which provides a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services to the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

Requirements

  • 3 years of related experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, and power tools, and applicable test equipment.
  • Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
  • Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
  • Ability to work alternate schedules as business needs dictate.

Nice To Haves

  • Soldering experience.
  • Prior harness fabrication experience.
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience operating and maintaining wire marking systems.

Responsibilities

  • Applying basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks.
  • Following detailed instructions to complete tasks.
  • Replacing components, wiring circuits, and repairing simple electronic equipment.
  • Taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Working under close supervision and receiving technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technician.
