About The Position
DP World is looking for a dynamic individual to join the operations team at a technology warehouse in Brampton, Ontario. This role involves working collaboratively across different departments and with all members of the management and warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, customer-focused, self-starter with previous warehouse experience.
Requirements
- GED or High School Diploma
- At least 2 years of electronic repair experience
- Soldering skills
- Networking knowledge
- Board level repair experience
- Understanding of ESD Principles
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electronics diagnostic equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
Responsibilities
- Ensure all test rigs are running smoothly day to day with minimal/no downtime (e.g., start-ups, daily inspections, troubleshooting, golden test, etc.).
- Ensure test rigs receive Preventive Maintenance as indicated on the PM label.
- Communicate and provide regular feedback to the R&D Engineer, Test Supervisor, Test Engineer, Operations Manager, and other stakeholders.
- Continuously troubleshoot rigs and proactively search for improvements and solutions.
- Meet daily productivity targets assigned to the area/commodity line.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
