The Engineering Precision Strike is a growing business area developing the next generation of advanced military equipment. The team is seeking a full time, on-site experienced technician to support our THAAD program. In this position you will partner with engineering to provide expertise and innovative solutions that support the engineering process. Electronics technicians provide, resources, and support with many of the hands on technical tasks associated with engineering. You will be asked to perform a variety of highly complex technical tasks which requires the understanding of electronics theory. You must be able to perform as a member of a highly technical team with good communication skills and be able to make good judgement calls. You will be expected to be able to operate automated test equipment as well as various other pieces test equipment within the lab. You may be called upon to help determine what equipment we need for capital purchases. It's expected that you will help mentor technicians as we add additional technicians in the future. This role requires you to be able to work off of rough blueprints and schematics. You must adhere to all corporate policies and procedures as well as policies and procedures within the lab.
