Requirements

General knowledge of and ability to use standard electronics lab test equipment such as DMMs, power supplies, UPS, data-loggers, hot/cold plates.
Solid technical understanding of standard components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, and basic logic devices.
Strong wiring and hand soldering skills.
Ability to interpret a functional electronics circuit (schematic and PCB) and explain its operation.
Strong oral/written communication and organization skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial electronics lab.
Associate’s degree in an electrical or electronics field or equivalent 3+ years work experience.
Strong computer skills with emphasis on MS Office.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual granted asylum or refugee status) due to ITAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

Experience in component reliability test.
General electronics troubleshooting experience.
Prior experience with electronics device failure and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with Agile and SAP.

Responsibilities

Use standard electronics lab test equipment such as DMMs, power supplies, UPS, data-loggers, hot/cold plates.
Perform test equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance per manufacturer’s documentation.
Interpret a functional electronics circuit (schematic and PCB) and explain its operation.
Perform component reliability test.
General electronics troubleshooting.
Electronics device failure and root cause analysis.
