About The Position

The Electronics Technician Maintenance II applies basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Perform routine tasks following detailed instructions such as replacing components, wiring circuits, and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and specialized testing systems. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead.

Requirements

  • Must possess an intermediate level of experience troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing equipment such as, but not limited to the following: AN/PVS Night Vision Devices, AN/PYQ-10 Cryptic Transfer Units, AN/UDR-13 Radiac Set, RT-153F Receiver Transmitter Radio, M150 Sight Bore Optics, PAS-13CV2, PVS14 Mono Night Vision, VDR2 Radiac set, Drivers Vision Enhancer (DVE), Radio Set Vehicular (Harris), SINCGAR Radios, DSESTS (Direct Support Electronic Systems Test Set), Power Supplies, Thermal Imaging Systems and Weapon Sights.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience required.
  • Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility.
  • Ability to pass a post offer drug screen clearance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Must possess good communication skills.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Military Experience Preferred.
