About The Position

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is seeking an Electronics Technician, Maintenance I/II to support efforts at White Sands Missile Range. This role involves applying technical knowledge to solve problems by interpreting manuals and documents, with familiarity in circuit interrelationships and the use of testing instruments. The work is performed under supervision and may involve cross-training into other related positions. The technician will support operations and routine maintenance on EW & Radar systems and their peripheral equipment, including setting up, operating, and tearing down these systems at remote locations for test missions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma and a 2-year Associate’s Degree or appropriate military training.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and software.
  • Fluency with computers, use of test equipment (such as Spectrum Analyzers, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes), and basic hand tools to support EW & Radar systems.
  • Must be able to work independently supporting operations and maintenance efforts with minimal direction.
  • Valid US Driver License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of your work employment.
  • Ability to obtain a Class B License.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must obtain a U.S. DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to start and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
  • All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-year Associate’s Degree or appropriate military training required for Level II
  • Four or more years’ experience in Electro-mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation-related experience in basic RF and electronics may supplement education for Level II.

Responsibilities

  • Cross-training and utilization into other positions that fall within our scope of work.
  • Apply technical knowledge of electronics, mechanical, and computer skills in support of operations and routine maintenance on EW & Radar systems and their peripheral equipment.
  • Set up EW & Radar systems at remote locations, operate the systems in support of test missions and tear down the systems once testing is complete.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Deploy to both CONUS and OCONUS.
