About The Position

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is seeking an Electronics Technician, Maintenance I/II to support efforts at White Sands Missile Range in Orogrande, NM. This role involves applying technical knowledge to solve problems related to EW & Radar systems and their peripheral equipment. The technician will perform routine maintenance, set up, operate, and tear down these systems at remote locations for test missions. The work is performed under supervision, with technical guidance provided by supervisors or higher-level technicians. This position requires familiarity with electronic circuits, planning work sequences, and using testing instruments.

Requirements

High School diploma and a 2-year Associate’s Degree or appropriate military training.
2-year Associate’s Degree or appropriate military training required for Level II
Four or more years’ experience in Electro-mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation-related experience in basic RF and electronics may supplement education for Level II.
Working knowledge of computer systems and software.
Fluency with computers, use of test equipment (such as Spectrum Analyzers, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes), and basic hand tools to support EW & Radar systems.
Must be able to work independently supporting operations and maintenance efforts with minimal direction.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be able to deploy to both CONUS and OCONUS.
Valid US Driver License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of your work employment.
Ability to obtain a Class B License.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must obtain a U.S. DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to start and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.

Apply technical knowledge of electronics, mechanical, and computer skills in support of operations and routine maintenance on EW & Radar systems and their peripheral equipment.
Set up EW & Radar systems at remote locations, operate the systems in support of test missions and tear down the systems once testing is complete.
