Electronics Technician Level III - 3rd shift

About The Position

This role focuses on the daily execution of electronic assembly processes, including programming, setup, and operation of surface mount and through-hole equipment. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting machine setup and workmanship issues, acting as a liaison for new product development, ordering fixtures, and developing process parameters. Additionally, the role involves training and mentoring team members, optimizing processes, reducing setup times, and implementing simple automation. A key aspect of the position is continuous improvement to reduce costs, which includes problem-solving using PDCA methodology and 5S principles.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand schematics diagrams
  • 1-3 years experience with SMT equipment – set up, running, and troubleshooting
  • 1-3 years experience with simple testing of circuit boards

  • Associate degree in electronics

Responsibilities

  • Program, Setup and Run surface mount and through hole equipment (screen printer, pick & place, re-flow oven)
