Electronics Technician III
About The Position
The Electronics Technician III can perform all operations duties listed on the Electronics Technician I and Electronics Technician II descriptions. In addition, the Electronics Technician III performs the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential duties satisfactorily: Complete first level analysis and tear-down inspections on returned electronic drives, meeting the customer’s required timeline. Repair or refurbish electronic drives if required. Troubleshoot and determine root cause/corrective action (RCCA). Work with QE and ME to implement desired corrective/preventive actions. Perform functions in Oracle – look up BOM. Perform functions in Matrix – Enter RMA data and analysis. Correlate data, update daily and weekly RMA metrics. Position may require field service travel for up to one-week per visit. Apply knowledge from field returns to post pack audit process.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in electronics or a related field.
- Strong technical background is to troubleshoot systems, machinery, test equipment.
- Use of judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions as to the failure mode of the product.
- Requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must have effective communication and computer skills.
- Must be able to communicate with a customer verbally and in writing.
- Must be self-directed and able to work well in a team environment.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
- Per the Internal Career Movement Guidelines, you must be in your current position for a minimum of 12 months.

- Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.
