About The Position

The Electronics Technician III can perform all operations duties listed on the Electronics Technician I and Electronics Technician II descriptions. In addition, the Electronics Technician III performs the following duties. This role requires completing first level analysis and tear-down inspections on returned electronic drives, meeting the customer’s required timeline. The technician will repair or refurbish electronic drives if required, troubleshoot and determine root cause/corrective action (RCCA), and work with QE and ME to implement desired corrective/preventive actions. Daily functions include performing tasks in Oracle to look up BOM and in Matrix to enter RMA data and analysis. The role also involves correlating data and updating daily and weekly RMA metrics. This position may require field service travel for up to one-week per visit and applying knowledge from field returns to the post pack audit process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in electronics or a related field is required.
  • Strong technical background is required to troubleshoot systems, machinery, test equipment.
  • Use of judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions as to the failure mode of the product.
  • Requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must have effective communication and computer skills.
  • Must be able to communicate with a customer verbally and in writing.
  • Must be self-directed and able to work well in a team environment.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.

Responsibilities
