Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret schematics and technical documentation accurately, facilitating precise repairs and maintenance.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience working with digital and analog systems, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with soldering techniques and surface-mount technology (SMT).
  • Knowledge of safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electronic equipment to ensure continuous operation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in electronic circuits and components using specialized tools and testing equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, including circuit boards, wiring, and connectors, following technical manuals and schematics.
  • Collaborate with engineers to assist in the installation, calibration, and testing of new electronic systems and prototypes.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately, maintaining logs and reports for compliance and future reference.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all repair and maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support and training to other staff members as needed.
