The Electronics Technician Maintenance II performs depot-level testing, troubleshooting, alignment, repair, overhaul, and maintenance of complex electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, circuit cards, cables, power supplies, and test adapters. Work is performed using government-furnished equipment, software, shop orders, drawings, schematics, procedures, and specifications. The position isolates failures to the component level, completes authorized repairs, and verifies equipment performance using automated and manual test stations and bench-top test equipment. Responsibilities also include electronic cleaning, disassembly and rebuilding, preventive and corrective maintenance of test equipment, and support for calibration-status tracking and equipment movement. This is an intermediate-level electronics position expected to independently perform complex work within approved procedures while consulting senior technicians, leads, engineers, or other qualified personnel when unusual failures or conditions exceed established repair guidance.
