About The Position
The Production Assembler (Conformal Coat) will coat the printed circuit boards and assemblies of power electronics for the defense and aerospace industry. Entry-level candidates are welcome as training is provided.
Requirements
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
- Ability to maintain industry certifications - IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-J-STD-001 SPACE, and IPC-610.
- Ability to read and comprehend drawings, schematics, production aides, quality documents, etc.
- Ability to demonstrate visual acuity.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent time management with the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in electronic assembly or general manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare assigned parts in accordance with production drawings, work instructions, and verbal instructions.
- Mix coating material and coat parts by dip, brush, or spray.
- Assist with potting (encapsulation) tasks.
- Self-check work before passing forward to ensure parts meet quality requirements.
- Assist with rework on defective parts that are rejected by inspection or test personnel.
- Log in and out of production jobs for accurate job tracking.
- Recommend process changes where practical.
- Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
- Perform other jobs as needed.
